CSS Beautifier

Beautify minified CSS into readable rules with one property per line.

Runs in your browser — your data never leaves your device.

About the CSS Beautifier

Paste minified CSS — for example from a theme or a website you are inspecting — and get readable rules with one property per line, ready to edit.

How to use the CSS Beautifier

  1. Paste your CSS.
  2. Choose the indentation.
  3. Copy or download the formatted CSS.

How it works

Formatting uses js-beautify's CSS beautifier (MIT): every rule and property is placed on its own line and nested blocks such as @media are indented.

Examples

  • .btn{color:#fff;padding:10px 16px;} → .btn { / color: #fff; / padding: 10px 16px; / }
