About the Favicon Generator
A favicon is the small icon shown in browser tabs, bookmarks and on phone home screens. Upload a square logo — or type one or two letters and choose colours — and get every file a modern website needs, with the HTML code to add.
How to use the Favicon Generator
- Upload your logo (square, at least 512 × 512 px) or choose Letters or emoji and set colours.
- Check the previews at real sizes.
- Click Download favicon pack, upload the files to your website's main folder and paste the code into the
<head>.
How it works
The source is cropped to a square and scaled down in steps for sharp small sizes. favicon.ico contains 16, 32 and 48 px PNG images; 180 px is used for Apple devices and 192/512 px for Android and the web manifest.

No. The image is opened and edited in your browser and never leaves your device.
Why does my old icon still show?
Browsers cache favicons for a long time. Clear the cache or open the site in a private window to see the new one.
