Scientific Calculator
Online scientific calculator — trigonometry, logarithms, powers, roots, factorials, memory and history.
History
Runs in your browser — your data never leaves your device.
About the Scientific Calculator
A full scientific calculator in your browser for students, engineers and everyday maths. Type expressions with your keyboard or tap the keys — brackets, operator precedence and implied multiplication (like 2π) work as you would expect.
Switch between degrees and radians, use memory keys and click a line in the history to reuse a result.
How to use the Scientific Calculator
- Type an expression or use the keys, e.g.
sin(30) + 2^3. - Press = or Enter.
- Use Ans for the last result and M+ / MR for memory.
Formula
Expressions are evaluated with a safe parser that follows standard order of operations: brackets, then powers (right to left), then multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction. −2² = −4, 2^3^2 = 512, % divides by 100 and n! is the factorial.
Examples
sin(30)(degrees) = 0.5sqrt(16) + log(1000)= 75!= 120
Frequently asked questions
Why does tan(90) give an error?
The tangent of 90° is undefined (it grows without limit), so the calculator reports it instead of showing a huge wrong number.
