How it works
- Sentence case capitalises the first letter of each sentence.
- Title Case capitalises major words and keeps short words such as *a, an, the, and, of, in, to* in lower case (unless they are first or last).
- Capitalize Each Word capitalises every word.
- camelCase / PascalCase / snake_case / kebab-case first split the text into words (also splitting existing camelCase), then join them in the chosen style. Each line is converted separately.
Examples
- "the QUICK brown fox" → Title Case: The Quick Brown Fox
- "user first name" → camelCase: userFirstName, snake_case: user_first_name, kebab-case: user-first-name
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalize Each Word?
Title Case follows headline style and keeps small words like "and", "of" and "the" in lower case. Capitalize Each Word capitalises every word without exception.
Does it work with non-English text?
Yes for languages that have upper and lower case letters (such as French or Turkish). Scripts like Urdu and Arabic have no letter case, so they stay unchanged.
