Image Splitter
Split an image into a grid of tiles for Instagram grid posts or carousels — numbered in posting order.

About the Image Splitter
Turn one big picture into a striking Instagram profile grid, a swipeable carousel or printable tiles. Choose a layout such as 3 × 3 and the image is cut into equal square tiles.
Instagram shows your newest post first, so the tiles are numbered in the order to post them: post tile 1 first and the top-left tile last.
How to use the Image Splitter
- Choose or drop an image.
- Pick a layout (3 × 1, 3 × 2, 3 × 3 …) or set your own rows and columns.
- Check the preview, then click Download tiles (ZIP).
- Post the tiles in number order.
How it works
The image is cropped to the grid's shape (for square tiles) from the centre, then divided into equal tiles. Tiles are saved up to 1080 px wide — Instagram's standard size.
Examples
- A wide panorama → 3 × 1 for one row of the profile grid.
- A poster → 3 × 3 = 9 posts that form one big picture.
