JSON to CSV
Convert a JSON array to CSV that opens correctly in Excel — Urdu included.
Runs in your browser — your data never leaves your device.
About the JSON to CSV
Have data from an API or export in JSON? Convert it to CSV to open in Excel or Google Sheets. Every key found in any object becomes a column, so records with missing fields still line up.
The Excel-friendly option adds a small marker (BOM) to the downloaded file so Excel shows Urdu, Arabic and accented letters correctly.
How to use the JSON to CSV
- Paste a JSON array (for example from an API response).
- Choose the delimiter — use semicolon if your Excel uses commas for decimals.
- Copy the CSV or download
data.csv.
How it works
Columns = all keys in the order first seen. Values containing the delimiter, quotes or line breaks are wrapped in double quotes with inner quotes doubled. Nested objects and arrays are written as JSON text. If the JSON is an object containing an array, that array is used.
Examples
[{"name":"Ali","city":"Jhelum"},{"name":"Sara","phone":"0300"}]→ columns name, city, phone with empty cells where a value is missing.
Frequently asked questions
Is my data sent to your server?
No. Everything runs in your browser, on your own device. Nothing you type, paste or choose is uploaded or stored.
