About the Stopwatch & Timer
Time a run, a presentation, an exam paper or cooking. The stopwatch measures to a hundredth of a second and records lap times. The timer counts down from any time and sounds an alarm when it finishes — the remaining time also shows in the browser tab.
How to use the Stopwatch & Timer
- Choose Stopwatch or Timer.
- For the timer, set hours, minutes and seconds.
- Press Start (or Space). Use Lap (L) and Reset (R).
Formula
Time is measured with the browser's high-resolution clock, so it stays accurate even if the page is in the background.
