Runs in your browser — your data never leaves your device.

    About the Unlock PDF

Banks, mobile networks and employers often send statements and slips as password-protected PDFs. If you have to type the password every time, or need to upload the file somewhere that rejects protected PDFs, this tool saves a copy without the password.

You must know the current password — this tool does not break or guess passwords.

How to use the Unlock PDF

    1. Choose or drop the protected PDF.
    2. Type its current password (often your CNIC number, date of birth or account number, as told in the email).
    3. Click Unlock PDF. A copy without a password is downloaded.

    How it works

The PDF is opened with your password using its own encryption (RC4, AES-128 or AES-256), and saved again without encryption. Pages, text, images, links and form fields stay exactly the same. Everything happens in your browser.

    Examples

    • A bank e-statement protected with the last 4 digits of the CNIC → saved without a password for a visa application upload.
    • A salary slip protected with the date of birth → unlocked so it can be merged with other documents.

    Frequently asked questions

Can it unlock a PDF without the password?

No. You need the password. Removing protection from files you are not allowed to open is not something this tool does.

Is my PDF or password sent anywhere?

No. The file is decrypted inside your browser and never uploaded.

Why does it say the password is wrong?

Passwords are case-sensitive. Check capital letters and whether the sender asked for your full CNIC with or without dashes.
